Residenza Argentina in Rome is located in via di Torre Argentina, 47 (next to the Teatro Argentina) in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) access being controlled by electronic entrances with varying hours (weekdays – Sundays and holidays).
It is ideally situated near to one of the main bus stops, so that you can move around the city with ease at any time of the night or day.

Here are the best ways to arrive at the hotel. Remember that we can organize private transfers from/to Fiumicino (FCO) and Ciampino (CIA) airports. Please contact us for more information.

FROM AIRPORTS

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport – FCO:
Leonardo Express: from Fiumicino Airport take the "Leonardo Express" train to Termini Railway Station (departs every 30 minutes without stops). The cost of the ticket is 14 euros per person one way, with a journey time of 31 minutes.
On arriving at Termini station take the ATAC 40 bus (Borgo Sant’Angelo) for 4 stops and get off at the ARGENTINA stop. It is then only a 150 m walk to via di Torre Argentina, 47 next to the Argentina Theatre.

From Ciampino International Airport – CIA:
You can take one of the many buses that run from Ciampino Airport to Termini Railway Station, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. Bus companies include Terravision and Airport Shuttle. On arriving at Termini Station take the ATAC 40 bus (Borgo Sant’Angelo) for 4 stops and get off at the ARGENTINA stop. It is then a 150 m walk to via di Torre Argentina, 47 next to the Argentina Theatre.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATIONS

From Termini Station:
Take the ATAC 40 bus (Borgo Sant’Angelo) for 4 stops and get off at the ARGENTINA stop. It is then a 150 m walk to Torre Argentina, 47 next to the Argentina Theatre.

From Tiburtina station:
Take the metro LINE B (Laurentina direction) and get off at the Termini stop (4 stops). Take the ATAC 40 bus (Borgo Sant’Angelo) for 4 stops and get off at the ARGENTINA stop. It is then a 150 m walk to via di Torre Argentina, 47 next to the Argentina theatre.

From Ostiense station:
Go to the Ostiense/Matteucci stop and take line 23 (Clodio) for 8 stops and get off at the LUNGOTEVERE DE CENCI/ARENULA stop. It is then a 450 m walk to via di Torre Argentina, 47 next to the Argentina theatre.

Getting around in Rome

Metro tickets can be bought directly at metro stations. Bus tickets can be bought in all tobacconists (tabaccherie) with a “T” sign outside, and from newsagents. Remember to buy your ticket and take it to a machine to be stamped.
All tickets are valid for the Metro, all surface transport, and railway network FS Urbana and ATAC - Metro Roma.
Some special tickets are also available that offer entrance to the city’s main attractions and access to public transport, for example:

ZTL

The hotel is situated in a restricted area. Guests can ask for the authorisation to get in at least one week before check-in; the permit will be released upon availability.
